Sponsorship
What’s in it for you?
By funding CNE’s Greenland 2009 expedition, you will be helping us raise awareness of climate change among thousands of pupils in our partner schools (see education) and carry out snow and ice data measurements for the Bristol Glaciology Centre, both of which fall within corporate social responsibility objectives.
We also want to build a relationship with all our sponsors, which can include workshops on teamwork, motivation and leadership or presentations pre and post expedition. We encourage all sponsors to take up of our Carbon Fast initiative, which helps companies reduce carbon emissions for the duration of our trip and beyond.
We offer a great incentive package for sponsors. Included in this is an opportunity of a lifetime! The chance for 10 to spend the day sailing one of the most innovative round the world racing yachts- Hugo Boss’s Open 60. Click here for more details.
Since a carbon neutral expedition to Greenland has never been tried before, we are confident that we will attract mainstream media attention. We are also planning to sell footage of the trip to a major broadcaster. Media coverage will associate your company brand with a unique, exciting and carbon neutral endeavor. Along side a leading PR company we will work with you to make sure that you achieve your promotional objectives.
.We have previous experience of gaining a huge media coverage for the (non CNE) Geo Magnetic North Pole expedition in 2006. Media outlets that covered that expedition included: News 24, BBC World Documentaries (Me in Food show!) Radio 5 LIve, ITV 1pm news, Regional TV (BBC Jersey, BBC Points West) and a number of local newspapers.
