Western Europe’s Highest Point- The hard way…

In August 2010. A team of 12 will leave the UK by bike and peddle the arduous 650 mile trip from Northern France to Chamonix, many of whom completely new to cycling.

From there they will acclimatise in the surrounding mountains, learning some mountaineering basics before setting the sights on the summit of Mt Blanc, all 4820 meters of it!

The team, all volunteers with a variety of backgrounds and experience have started training in earnest for this challenge with the added incentive of charity fundraising.
