NOW IT’S YOUR TURN FOR AN ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME
Hi All,
Over the next few weeks I will be advertising for a team of determined lads and lasses to join me on a cross Europe venture by pedal and crampon! We will be cycling from Calais to the French Alps where we will attempt a summit of Western Europe’s highest peak- Mt Blanc. This is a unique adventure but open for all who can dedicate time to training and teamwork. Please be in touch if you or friends want to be included in a mail shot of further details.

Alps Reconnaissance
Fantastic trip to the Alps, with successful summits of 6 4,000 ers.
We took in a beautiful traverse of Mt Blanc via the 3 Monts. This is certainly one to be repeated. As mentioned before in these pages Cycle Summit tour events will be up and running early next summer so watch this space.
Much more to come from the Alps excursion, keep watching….
Swiss Alps reconnaissance trip
I’m setting off on a little mission to climb a few 4000 ers in the Swiss and Italian Alps this week. This is primarily to collect information for forthcoming cycle summit adventures. These will be fully man powered expeditions “out and back” across Europe to some of the finest peaks. Full details will be released in the Autumn.
Swing on by in a week or so- for lots of lovely photos and news of some successes I hope after this springs disappointments.

Sad Departure
Much as this pains me to write, Raoul Surcouf is taking leave of CNE. He is heading to the USA for a new start in warmer climes! There have been many highs and sadly following our Greenland exploits some lows. I’m sure I speak for all who have been associated with CNE over the years in offering my sincere thanks for all you’ve brought to CNE.
Keep plodding on….
